• 1. The cost of the books is not included in the course fee, unless specified otherwise.
• 2. If a minimum number of participants do not register for the course, we reserve the right to cancel the course
• 3. One teaching unit (UE) = 40 minutes of instruction
• 4. General Requirements
  All courses are designed for adult learners. Participant must be at least 17 years of age and a proof of age should be furnished at the time of registration (with the exception of participants in courses for teens).
• 5. Terms of Payment
  • 5.1. The course fees is payable at the time of registration. We accept payment with Cash/Credit Card/ Debit Card or Cheque/ Demand Draft drawn in favor of “FOREIGN LANGUAGE STUDIO”. Misspell/overwritten/hand corrected demand drafts will not be accepted.
  • 5.2. If full payment is not received by the due date, the participant loses the right to participate. In such cases, the GNS / Foreign Language Studio retain its entitlement to the course fee.
• 6. Course fees
  • 6.1. The contractually binding fee is the fee stated in the price list at the time of application.
  • 6.2. Unless stated otherwise the books must be purchased separately.
• 7. Refundable amount (after all deduction/ Penalty/ Charges) can be also adjusted with other student’s fee or can be used also in future for any other courses.
• 8. Examination fees
  • 8.1. The contractually binding examination fee is the fee stated in the price list at the time of application by Goethe Institute/Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi.
  • 8.2. Course participants can up to 6 months after the end of the course take the central examination of the corresponding level as an internal candidate. However this is valid only if the language office has been notified in writing prior to the examination date that he/she will not be taking the examination.
  • 8.3 No verbal discussion and commitment will be considered.
• 9. Cancellation and refunds (Examinations): Once paid, will not be refundable in any circumstance by GNS.
  • 9.1 All rights (exam fee/cancellation/ refund) are reserved by Goethe Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi.

  • 9.2 Foreign Language Studio is not responsible for exam cancellation and exam fee refund.
• 10 Course participation certificate
  Participants with minimum attendance of 75% are eligible to write the central examination or are entitled to a Course Participation certificate.
• 11 Course level assignment/ class size
  • 11.1 Candidates with prior knowledge of German, who wish to apply directly for a level higher than A1, are required to take a placement test conducted by the GNS / Foreign Language Studio, Registration at the level indicated by the placement test is possible only if seats are available at that particular level. Placement test conducted at the beginning or during a semester/trimester shall be valid only for the current or the ongoing semester/trimester. Former Students are eligible to take the placement test only after a gap of 6 months from the date of last registration.
  • 11.2 Our courses have minimum 6 and at most 15 participants for the levels A1 to C2. If enrolments are insufficient on the starting date, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the course. In this case we will offer the participants the opportunity to move to another course or to receive a full refund of the course fee.
• 12. Library Fee: Rs. 1,000.00 will be deposited extra as Library membership, if students want to get issued books from library.
• 13 Liability of the GNS / Foreign Language Studio
  The liability of the GNS / Foreign Language Studio and its staff shall be limited to intent and gross negligence. The GNS/ Foreign Language Studio will have no liability for cancellation of its services due to force majeur (e.g. natural disasters, fire, floods, war, official orders and all other circumstances beyond the control of the contractual parties).
• Our minimum Consultancy charges for Ausbildung/ Study Abroad/ Jobs in India or in foreign countries/ Visa filing Assistance etc is INR17,700/- which is not refundable / Adjustable at all in any circumstances.

CONSENT FOR THE USAGE OF AUDIO/ VIDEO AND INTERVIEW

M/s Foreign Language Studio has also the right and permission to copyright and/or publish, reproduce or otherwise use Course participants/ Students’ name, voice, and likeness in video, photographs, written materials, and audio-visual recordings and Contact numbers. The materials about or of students may be used for both commercial and/or non-commercial purposes. It may be edited, copied, exhibited, published and/or distributed.

This material may be used individually or in conjunction with other media in any medium, including without limitation to print publications, digital publications, and/or public broadcast for any lawful purpose. There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor are there any geographic limitations on where these materials may be distributed.

Course participants/ Students hereby acknowledge and grant M/s Foreign Language Studio and its employees, agents, licenses, successors, and third-party organizations all ownership rights and irrevocable right and permission to use, copyright, publish, sell, distribute, and/or promote the recorded video, photo, interview, and/or audio.

The participation of the Course participants/ Students’ is completely voluntary

Course participants/ Students takes full responsibility for the involvement in all projects and the risks that it may entail (be they legal, physical, or mental) and release M/s Foreign Language Studio from any claims, demands, losses, damages, suits, and liabilities of any kind whatsoever in connection with the foregoing.
